These are some of my "year in review" layouts from this year. This is one of the first layouts in the series. I'd made a layout based on my goals for the year, but then thought of another few that I'd like to add, so I made another layout to encompass them.
This is my April in review. April was a very tumultuous month - my bestie moved away, my Mum went overseas for 5 weeks (and I'm a complete self-confessed Mummy's girl, so this affected me more than it probably should have), and other assorted havoc took place, so I thought that this title was very fitting. I also love that one of the papers was a map of London - the very place that my Mum had gone!
This is my May in review. In May the most significant event was that I saw my Dad for the first time in a few years. I didn't have a good photo that expressed what I wanted to, so I appropriated (nicked) this image from http://www.weheartit.com/
And in June, I finally got my tattoo finished. It was a looooooong time coming, and a real accomplishment to get it done! I like to think that this layout is a bit tongue-in-cheek. The paper is oh-so-vintage and sweet, and coupled with the lace it has a very feminine feel. And then there's a tattoo. It appeals to my simple sense of humour.
And a couple of other random layouts. The first is a photo of my Mum at the beach. I love this pic - it's so cute! I could never do any beach shots this amount of justice. I have a bit of a thing for zippers, and have a few of these lovely yellow ones sitting around.
This layout is a very petulant, "But I don't wanna!". It's about all of my friends actually growing up and doing adult stuff, and my general reticence to do anything that may be seen as responsible. Really, it's surprising that this hasn't happened sooner (my friends growing up, that is), but I'm still dragging my heels about it all. I just.... I just.... don't want to.
